You would think after a week of stomach virus in the house I would have lost some weight. My girls had it a couple of times each, I had it a couple of times. We also had strep and ear infections and… just… ick.
But did I lose weight? No. Fine. Whatever. The scale is not my friend, I’m ok with that.
However, we did get a membership to the local YMCA, which is awesomesauce! I was disappointed to learn that the childwatch hours are only in the mornings and evenings, but I’ll figure out a way to work around that and get into the gym a couple of times a week. I’m going to see if I can get my mom to go with me. We were going together for a while a long time ago and I actually kind of enjoyed it.
AND my new running shoes should be here Monday – YAY! That means that I start running again. The treadmill is still in the bedroom, with clothes all over it, which means that I have to hit the pavement. This might mean going in the dark in the morning, but I think I’m ok with that. It’ll be an adventure, right?
So… the weigh in. Yeah. I’m not posting my weight. Let’s just say the scale didn’t move. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to post a loss.
Bummer on the scale, but yay for getting out and running! Have a good week
