New Year, new computer, new focus… I’m back!
I am back on anti-depressants and they’ve done a number on my weight. I’ve been on them about a month now and been watching the weight creep back up. It seems to have stabilized now, and I think I have a plan to get it going back in the right direction.
I have everything I need to get back on the road running again. My Christmas tree will come down Monday and my treadmill will be back in place for those times when I can’t get outside. What will also happen on Monday? My husband and I are going to join the YMCA. I think it will be good for all of us. They have childcare so I can take the girls and get a break for an hour or two and swim or use the gym or run on the indoor track… awesome for all of us!
I’m not really making any New Years Resolutions this year, I’m just getting back on the bandwagon of the things I was already doing. The holidays are over, and my excuses are gone. I’m more motivated than ever.
I just registered for the Flying Pig 13.1 again. I haven’t run much for the past month or so, I feel like I’m starting all over again, but I’m going to kill it this year! And you know what else? I’m looking at a fall marathon. Yep. I’m gonna do it.
I’ve got so much to say, but I’ll save it for another post. Or two. Or three.
I’ll weigh in sometime in the next day or two and post that too… I’m going to put it all out there this time. For everyone to see.
